The actors really deliver great performances
The story is solidly told, with twists that hold interest, and the camerawork captures the eerie atmosphere perfectly. Also, I must point out that Ms.
Lynch’s acting was quite disappointing
Her performance felt very one-dimensional, which unfortunately was offset by strong, nuanced performances. It’s not about race – I can think of some great black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.
It’s certainly not perfect, but it deserves attention
It’s just that her performance didn’t match the overall quality of the show, which was disappointing. Still, the show is worth watching for its story and the exceptional performances of the rest of the cast.
